![]() It's coming to Austin for a special dinner in collaboration with French restaurant 1417, offering a four-course meal with perfect beer pairings, of course. One is in a category of its own as the only brewery with two stars: Chicago's Moody Tongue Culinary Brewery. If you didn't know Michelin-starred breweries exist, you're not alone. Like the main menu, the happy hour selections will be seasonal. The announcement also teases rotating punch drinks. Guests will take $2 off all wines and beers on tap, plus some discounted bites and cocktails. (Never would have guessed that there wasn't already one.) August 15 will mark the first happy hour, which will be held Tuesdays through Sundays from 5-6 pm. “This year, we tapped the Yelp community for nominations of their favorite restaurants and are thrilled to see Bird Bird Biscuit at the very top! We look forward to seeing the community come out and grab one of the eatery’s famous bites.L'Oca d'Oro, an Austin favorite that still maintains strong neighborhood restaurant status, is launching a new happy hour. ![]() “Yelp is excited to invite the Austin community to celebrate Bird Bird Biscuit’s achievement,” said Brenae Leary, Senior Communications Manager at Yelp. Customers must place their orders online and use the promo code YELPTOP100 to receive $10 off their order (roughly the price of a biscuit sandwich). One of only two Texas restaurants to make the list (the other is El Paso-based Nomi at #57), this is a particularly sweet accolade for Bird Bird because the restaurant was nominated by diners themselves. Today, Yelp released its 100 Places to Places to Eat in America, and landing in the #5 spot is beloved Manor Road (and now Koenig Lane, too) biscuit joint, Bird Bird Biscuit.
